Six-Minute Hair Using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer

I have read nothing but glowing reviews for the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and just HAD to try it for myself. As a new mom, finding time to wash, dry, and style my hair is a chore. Heck, it was hard before having a baby. Something that could promise to make washing and drying my hair effortlessly and in under 10 minutes was something I had to try.

It only took one use to know I LOVED this product.

What is the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer?
Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer claims to be a revolutionary styling tool that dries, styles, adds volume, and shine in just one step. It uses mixed bristle brushes and is designed to distribute air quickly and evenly to style quickly but with less heat damage.

Tips for Using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer

  • It’s best to let your hair air dry a little first as opposed to trying to do it on fully wet hair. I usually let it dry about 70% (usually I’ll wash before bed and use it in the morning)
  • Use the three temperature settings accordingly (I explain more below)
  • Split your hair into the top and bottom section when drying so you can style the bottom section first then the top section

How I Style My Hair in Under 6 Minutes Using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer

One: I wash my hair the night before and let it dry overnight. When I wake in the morning it’s usually about 70% dry.

Two: Brush through your hair and add a serum or your favorite heat protectant.

Three: Section your hair into the top and bottom section.

Four: With the dryer on the “Warm” setting, take a section about 1-1/2 inches wide and starting at the root of the hair slowly pull the dryer down the length of the hair, curling inward as you go.

Five: When you get to end, curl the tool inward and flip the dryer to the “Hot” setting for about 3-4 seconds then flip to the “Cool” setting for about 10 seconds to set it into place.

Six: Complete the entire bottom section of hair and then repeat on the top section. And, you’re done!

Doing my hair using this method and this tool honestly takes me about 6 minutes. It’s SO fast and so effective. The round brush adds volume while the heat and bristle brush dries and styles my hair!

I highly suggest and recommend this tool. It’s hands down the best hair tool I’ve ever owned or used.

Get The One Step Dryer

IMPORTANT: There are a lot of knockoffs of this tool now. I have a feeling they do NOT work exactly the same. In my thoughts, it’s best to stick name brand here to ensure you’re getting the right thing.

Where to Buy It:

While you can get it on Amazon, be careful since this is where many of the knockoffs live. THIS LINK will get you to the tool sold via Revlon.

Ulta – Available at its full price, but if you have a coupon or points to use, this is a great place to buy it.

Walmart – Typically the best price available unless someone else is running a sale.

Target – They have good standard pricing at $56.99 (most sell for $59.99), but it’s often not on sale here.
