Affordable Fashion Finds for Fall

I’m breaking down some of my FAVORITE finds for fall (and winter) and I think they are ALL under $40 at the time I hit publish. Total steals I actually own and love and wear ALL THE TIME.

One // Time & Tru Booties – I bought these on a whim at Walmart about a month ago (because hello the price) and I’ve honestly been wearing them on repeat! The Time & Tru stuff at Walmart is always super impressive and these shoes are no different. They are versatile and easy to style.

Two // Old Navy Luxe Shirts – I love the Luxe tops at Old Navy. The fabric is more soft and drapey and they are great classic shirts. You can wear them layered, tuck them into a pair of jeans, or throw them on with leggings, just a great everyday shirt.

Three // Amazon Essential Pull-On Jeggings – These are like the Old Navy Rockstar Jeggings but better. To be fair, they are VERY similar I just find the quality of the fabric a tad better than the Old Navy ones. The Amazon Essential Jegging are a standard “jegging” in the sense that you have an elastic waistband. The material is stiffer than just leggings, they really feel like a jean, but with lots of generous stretch. These are the perfect ultra comfy “jeans,” where it looks and feels like you’re wearing jeans, but without any pinching at the waist, bunching around a zipper, or stiffness in the legs. Fit true to size!

Four // Chunky Knit Cardigan – The cardigan so nice I bought it twice. Seriously I bought it again in another color. It’s just the perfect throw-on, super soft, and cozy cardigan. Great for lounging around the house, wearing to run errands, etc. (I’m wearing it with my Daily Ritual white long sleeves which are another Amazon find and perfect for layering.)

Five // Chelsea Boots – A great fall/winter boot find for under $40. Every woman can use a black chunky boot in their wardrobe. Great for dresses, jeans, leggings, and more. These ones are super easy to slide on AND ultra comfy. Also wearing it with this dress, which is another amazing affordable find and layers with cardigans great!

Six // Oversized Side Slit Sweater – Another sweater so nice I bought it twice. I really believe if something fits good you get it in a few colors, that’s just a simplified wardrobe right there. Just a super comfy oversize sweater that still has some style. I don’t find it long enough for leggings (on me at least I’m 5’9″) but pairs great with jeans and jeggings! Comes in TONS of colors.

Seven // Sneaker Bootie – As someone who wears a lot of sneakers in the summer and fall, I love a good sneaker bootie. I think these are super adorable and, again, the Time & Tru shoes have never disappointed me. I have a few pairs I’ve been using for years. I also originally found this shoe from my friend Rachel at Pinteresting Plans, and shes’ SUPER fashionable so if she says they are good, I trust her.

Eight // Oversized Cowl-Neck Sweater – This sweater is SO comfortable. It’s long enough to wear with leggings but works with jeans, too. I love the ribbed sleeve detail. What I really love is it’s very lightweight so doesn’t feel too bulky even though it’s so oversized. Sometimes oversized sweaters, especially with cowl-necks, feel like overwhelming, this one doesn’t.

Nine // Waffle Lounge Pants – Who doesn’t love a good lounge pant? Stars Above line are my GO TO when I want some comfy loungewear without breaking the bank. I own multiple sets and gift them all the time, too.

Ten // The Legging with THE POCKET – These leggings are THE BOMB for less than $15! First off, they are nice and thick, no see-through lettings here. And the high waist holds everything in nice and comfy. But the game-changer here is it has pockets!!! And the pockets are big enough to hold your phone. And maybe I’m new to the leggings with pockets game but dear lord it changes everything.

Eleven // Amazon Essential High Waisted Jeans – These are really a nice high-waisted jean, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. Just a really good basic jean. They have a little bit of stretch so they are very comfortable to wear all day long. And I love that they come in short and long options. I found they fit true to size.

Twelve // Crew Neck Striped Sweater – This is my third winter with this sweater and I always wear it on repeat. The sweater itself is nice and soft, doesn’t feel like an itchy or cheap fabric. Fits true to size. I get compliments everyyyy time I wear it. Comes in TONS of colors.

Thirteen // Long Sleeve Ruffle Floral Dress – I love this dress so much. It’s so sweet and flirty but just comfy, too. It’s one of those dresses you can just throw on and you’re ready for the day, but look pulled together as heck. The only problem for me is since I’m a little on the taller side (5’9″) it gets a TAD short when I lift my arms over my head. Usually not really an issue, it doesn’t like come all the way up, but since I’m usually wrangling small kids, it is something to keep in mind for mom life.

Fourteen // Turtleneck Sweater Dress – This is a dress, and you can totally wear it that way, but it doubles as a long sweater for leggings, too. I find it looks great styled both way. Throw it on with a pair of leggings and sneakers or dress it up with knee-high boots and belt it at the waist.
