Baby Girl’s Nursery Reveal

Pretty excited to share baby girl’s nursery with you! (Even if her rocking chair isn’t here JUST yet.) Considering I didn’t ever do Miles’ nursery reveal until I think he was maybe 1-2 months old, I feel pretty ahead of the curve this time around.

Designing the Space

So, when it came to designing the space, I had a few starting pieces to work with, which helped as a jumping off point. I already had the Ruggable Rug and we were keeping the crib as is. So, my first step was just thinking about how to make the rug feel a little more feminine.

My favorite trick when designing a space is to use something like PicMonkey.com and collage in items I already have and then put in things I’m THINKING of having. I can be very visual when picking out a room, so it’s a really easy way for me to see if things seem to mesh together well or not. It’s not exactly a Pinterest-worthy mood board, but it’s a quick reference for me to see if art and colors and furniture seem to be matching.

Furniture:

Rug – Rug is from Ruggable – use the code FUNKALLIE10 to get 10% off your Ruggable purchase. This will expire on Jan 10, 2021.

Crib is from Target. Miles has been using it for over 2 years and it’s still in great shape, I’ve been really happy with it. And crib sheets are Little Unicorn, in the pattern Watercolor Rose.

Dresser is Ikea and I swapped out the knobs for these leather drawer pulls from Amazon.

Changing pad topper for dresser is Target and pad cover is Little Unicorn.

Rocking chair (not pictured because it hadn’t arrived yet, but shown in the video) is from Amazon

Ikea Wardrobes are Brimnes

The board book wall are IKEA spice racks

Decor:

Paint color – Clare Paint in the color “Pop”

Llama Head is from Etsy

Almost all the artwork is Society6 the Llama print, houseplant alphabet, and lemon tree art.

Girl, You’re a World Changer Banner is from New Creation who donates its profits to ending human trafficking.

Rainbow Blanket is from What Little Wonder

Blackout Curtains are from Target and we’ll also be adding cling-on blackout vinyl for at least the first 6-8 months.

Frames I use are pretty much all the Belmont Frames line from Michael’s. They go on sale for 30-50% off very regularly, so I wait until they are on sale and buy then, or use a coupon.
