Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now

Hairitage Heated Dry Brush – I don’t know how I didn’t know about these things sooner, but WOW a heated dry brush is amazing. Use it on dry hair to quickly (I’m talking 2-3 minutes) brush through your hair and smooth and straighten. Amazing for mornings when I don’t have time, I can just whip through my hair a few times to feel more polished.

ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Pads – Every pregnancy changes my skin, and I’m sure age plays a role, too. Lately my skin has been looking and feeling dull and uneven and so I decided to give these a go and have been really happy. They are described as “dual-action pads” that will help reduce the look of dark spots, pores, and uneven skin texture. They lift away dead cells and gently exfoliate. I’ve definitely found my skin looking brighter and less dull since using them. And a bonus tip, I cut mine in half to get double the use!

TATCHA The Dewy Skin Cream – This has been on my wishlist for awhile but I keep waiting because it is pricy. I finally bit the bullet to give it a try and I’ll be honest….NOT disappointed. It’s ultra-moisturizing without feeling greasy or heavy. It makes my skin feel incredibly moisturized and plump without that leftover feeling of other moisturizers. Realllly love.

Oak Essentials Moisture Balm – This was another splurge skin product (I clearly did a few skincare splurges recently in hopes of helping my pregnancy skin, luckily I was rewarded.) This is a nutrient-rich balm to offer hydration and that says it supports collagen production. Unlike the Dewy Skin Cream mentioned above, this does feel a little more like a moisturizing balm, so I use it at night before bed. But, it really does deliver some beautiful luminous moisture. Like I said, it’s pricy, but I usually use it only 3-4x a week so after about 2 months I’m still maybe only half of the way through it.

Paula’s Choice BHA Exfoliant – This product was something I brought back into my routine. Whenever I find myself struggling with dryness or dry patches, I pull this stuff out. It looks and works like a toner, in the sense that it’s a liquid you put onto a cotton pad, but it uses BHA to exfoliate. Unlike other exfoliators this is non-abrasive, but still helps polish away dead skin and dryness. I use it 2x a day to combat dryness.

Ilia Skin Serum- I haven’t stopped being obsessed with this stuff since I started using it last year. I actually ran out in December and waited a few weeks to reorder and when I finally got it again after using other products, it was like I fell in love all over again. It’s a tinted serum with a light, dewy coverage + SPF. Basically, it applies like a serum (no brushes or sponges needed) but gives you a nice light coverage on your skin. The ultimate no-makeup-makeup look. I wear the color Bom Bom for reference.

Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder – This is my current favorite way to finish my face makeup for a beautiful glowy look. I use my Ilia Skin Serum basically every day and then finish it with this powder. It adds a tiny bit extra coverage, but mostly just makes my skin look effortlessly even and glowing. It can also be worn alone as a powder foundation. I ordered the color 01 Porcelain for reference.
