Shop Small Gift Guide For Her

Gift guide for women featuring all small US businesses, shops, and artisans!

Michael and I have been making a huge conscious effort to shop local and small a lot more lately, for the Christmas season we made a personal goal to do over 70% of our Christmas shopping from small businesses as our little part. While I know I’ll still hit up some of the Black Friday sales, I wanted to spend this week highlighting all the amazing things you can get from small businesses. These gift guides are definitely a little more work as I’m researching each individual company, but it’s been SO cool learning about new and amazing small shops out there. This post shares a ton of gift ideas of the women in your life, all from small US shops.

Shop Small Gift Guide For Her | Gifts from small US businesses

ONE: Lavender Body Oil – Made by Lizush, which makes a line of bath and body products right here in the US, all of which are 100% natural, 100% safe, pure, non-toxic, and never tested on animals. They sell a full range of stuff from their Amazon store, including AMAZING gift boxes, as well!

TWO: Name & Face Mugs – These face mugs are TOO great for any mom, fur parent, or grandparent. You can put any face (human or pet) and any wording underneath such as “Miles’ Mom” or “Cole’s Nana” or whatever!

THREE Weekly Planner – Handmade journals and planners from North Carolina made from recycled materials. I love the simplicity of this weekly planner set. She also has a best-selling self-help journal.

FOUR Famous Women Ornaments – I’ve shared this store in the past but just have to include it here because she sells SO many iconic women felt ornaments. Each ornament is handmade by craftspeople in marginalized regions with the goal of helping relieve the areas of poverty. During the time the craftspeople are making the ornaments, they aim to help them become self-sustainable by teaching management techniques, quality control, and computer skills. They have TONS of famous people felt ornaments as well as animals and other items.

FIVE Empowered Women Empower Women Tee – Sold by New Creation, which is a non-profit created to counteract sex-trafficking. They offer survivor-made goods and fair trade accessories. Their entire shop has tons of great gift ideas.

SIX Monogrammed Robe – Family-owned business in California that started as a small embroidery shop for brides, but thanks to Etsy now can serve a much wider customer base. They focus on personalized gifts for weddings, but this monogrammed plush robe is the perfect Christmas present!

SEVEN Little Lemon Candles – Kayla’s handmade candles come with fun and witty saying on the front, and most importantly, in awesome scents.

EIGHT Hand-loomed Cotton Throw (sold out but similar from them here) – Again, from the New Creation, which is a non-profit created to counteract sex-trafficking selling survivor-made goods and fair trade accessories.

NINE Custom Tumblers – Mom-created business out of North Carolina, she started her Etsy shop as a side hustle and eventually was able to leave her corporate job to follow it full-time! I think these custom tumblers are SO pretty and also super practical. Definitely check out her entire shop for tons of gorgeous customized pieces.

TEN Hey June Earrings – Bonnie’s jewelry business started in 2015 and has really grown since then. She sells tons of beautiful, simple designs perfect for every woman. I’ve purchased multiples for me and family.

ELEVEN Paint By Number Kit – These were created by Rachel Austen, and Oregon artist and graphic designer. She began making paint-by-number kits and now makes a line of simple, vintage designs that use 8 colors so you don’t need to be a pro to do it!

TWELVE Handmade Clay Earrings – Handmade by a mom in Seattle, Washington, Yara makes beautiful clay and mixed-media jewelry.

THIRTEEN Monogrammed Sweatshirt – A simple comfy monogrammed sweatshirt made in Alabama.

FOURTEEN Cool Mom Club Sweatshirt – Love these sweatshirts for a mom in your life. Created by Chloe, a nurse anesthetist who, once becoming a mom, wanted more fun, trendy mom clothing. So, she created it herself! Along with the Cool Mom Club line she has tons of other great picks for moms.
