Shop Small Gift Guide For the Home - The Best House Gifts From From Businesses

Home Gift Guide From Small Businesses

ONE Gardener’s Harvest Basket – Handmade in Maine this is the perfect gift for any gardener. This traditional Gardener’s Basket (also called a “hod”) has a wire bottom so they can hose off their harvest before going inside.

TWO Mid-Century Plant Stand – These are made by Gem (with the support of her dog buddy Alfie, of course), in California. I own one myself and LOVE it. The height and width is adjustable and it looks SO chic in the house. She also sells plant baskets.

THREE Ceramic Candlestick Holders – Honestly, you can’t go wrong with some beautiful candlestick holders as a gift, it’s something everyone needs. These handmade ceramic ones are so pretty and all 100% handmade by Jordan in Flordia. Also, pair them with these 100% beeswax taper candles handmade in New York.

FOUR Scratch-Off Map – Kristin is a mom of two girls and handmade her first scratch-off map when she couldn’t find one she loved. Now, she makes them for other adventure loving people. A great gift for a travel lover or couple, you scratch off each state as you’ve visited. She also sells World Scratch Off Maps as well as National Park scratch offs!

FIVE Hand Printed Tea Towels – Julie, from Denver, hand carves hand blocks to print onto linens and they are amazing and come in tons of styles. I think they are THE PERFECT gift for that hard to shop for person. (I might have to gift these to myself!)

SIX Custom Home Painted Platter – Laura from Missouri paints ceramic platters with homes, and it makes the perfect gift for a new homeowner or someone who has lived in their home for years. She also does hand-painted ornaments of houses (and dogs) at a SUPER affordable price. I actually have ordered one for a gift already and she was very quick and responsive.

SEVEN Reusable Paper Towels – Love this for the eco-friendly person on your list these reusable paper towels are practical and cute. The ones I originally had linked aren’t available anymore but a fellow YouTuber just launched her own line so of course I have to share hers!

EIGHT Personalized Home Map Art – So cute!

NINE Soy Candle – MY FAVORITE CANDLES, I had to include them. Finding Home Farms makes 100% US Soy Candles in upstate New York. These candles smell great, have an amazing burn time, and are made with cotton wicks. (Cinnamon Pinecone smells exactly like Christmas, you’re welcome).

TEN Berry Buddy – Brian makes handmade pottery from his one-with-nature studio in Pennsylvania. Designed to rinse berries with style, this stoneware strainer, known as the Berry Buddy® is his all-in-one prep essential with a built-in drip catcher and pour spout.

ELEVEN Alphabet Vases – Made by Tracey, an industrial designer based in NYC. I love these because you can do any initials or spell anything out and they are so versatile. Fill them with flowers or use them for pens, paintbrushes, or more!

TWELVE State Spoon Rests – Hailing from Minnesota, Kerry not only runs a potter’s collective but is professionally trained in ceramics. These state spoon rests are a great gift and addition to any kitchen.  The back is stamped with the state’s name and a delicate leaf of its tree as well (it’s those little touches that make it so special!) I think it’s a great gift for someone hard to shop for, but the state aspect still makes it feel personalized.

THIRTEEN Inspiration Calendar – Perfect for hanging in the kitchen, this calendar has an inspirational quote for each month of the year, each behind a scratch-off a block. Scratch off one block a day to finally reveal the quote.

FOURTEEN Serving Platters – Handmade by April in Mississippi these serving platters are a gift anyone can use and love. They come in a variety of sizes and colors. She also sells handmade ceramic ornaments, plates, vases, and more on her Etsy shop.

FIFTEEN Funny Veggie Tea Towels – Screen printed on unbleached 100% cotton dish towel using environmentally friendly water-based ink, these towels have funny vegetable puns. All handmade and handprinted by Jessica in Pennsylvania. She also does a wide variety of other style towels as well as organic toddler/baby clothing that’s been handprinted, too, so definitely check her entire shop.
