Spring Fashion Trends for 2015

Spring Fashion Trends 2015
I did some research across fashionistas on instagram, pictures from the recent Fashion Week, fashion blogs, etc., and found the trends I found to not just be the popular, but also the most wearable.  Here’s what I came up with.Plus, thinking about Spring fashion is really helping my state of mind in reminding me that, yes Kallie, there is sunshine in the future. There are days to be had with no ice on the ground.

ALL WHITE: Head to toe white never truly goes out of style, but white one white was huge this winter and we can expect to see that continue into the spring.

SEPARATES: Coming back in full force from last Spring, separates are everywhere you turn.  While you can grab separates that completely match, you can also have fun and mix and match the tops and bottoms.  Separates are also, apparently, a huge trend for wedding gowns this year, too. (But I can’t say you’ll be seeing me walk down the aisle in it.)

UTILITY: Another trend that just won’t quit.  While utility jackets and vests are continuing, it’s actually even more about the utility style pants this year.

BOLD FLORAL: We’re talking big, bold floral patterns anywhere and everywhere.

YELLOW: I love that yellow was a big hit at Fashion Week.  Even though it’s not the best color on me, it’s such a happy color I can’t be mad about it.

GINGHAM: Let’s chat this one out. Gingham, check, plaid… what’s the difference?  You can spot Gingham by two distinct characteristics: it’s always a combo of white and one other color AND the lines on gingham have the same width (unlike, say, plaid, which can be many colors, sometimes with no white, and the lines are often different widths)  The classic gingham top is always in style, but expect to see it in dresses, separates, crop tops, and accessories, too.

KNEE-HIGH GLADIATORS: Honestly, I thought these were on their way out of style, but I’ve seen them everywhere on my insta lately.  I think the return of a more boho look is bringing these sandals back with full force.
