Dunkin’ Refreshers

Dunkin came out with Refreshers this summer. They are made with iced green tea and are a source of vitamin B including B3, B5, B6, and B12! They are a super nice afternoon pick-me-up. Sometimes it’s nice to have something in the afternoon that gives you a little caffeine that’s not as acidic as coffee. You can get two flavors, Strawberry Dragonfruit flavored and Peach Passion Fruit flavored. Both beverages are under 200 calories and made without artificial dyes and flavors!

MicrodermaMitt

These are exfoliating mitts, you pop them over your hand and can exfoliate in the shower. They are hands down the best shower skin exfoliator I’ve used. Most scrubs are messy and wash off before you can even finish exfoliating. These are SO easy for everyday exfoliation, I’m so hooked.

I use the body one 1x a week and, especially in the summer, it’s amazing how much dry skin it buffs away! Even Michael comments on how my skin is “so soft” after I use it!

I use the face one 2-3x a week. It’s a little more gentle and is so much easier and more effective than other scrub-based exfoliators.

Muscle Racks

We needed to do some better storage in our basement as it’s the only real bulk storage area in our house (no attic or extra closets). Even though it’s not a finished basement, it luckily stays pretty dry and mold/dirt free. I found these Muscle Racks and LOVE them. Firstly, they are so stinking easy to put together, NO tools NO screws NO bolts! Second, they are nice and deep, unlike a lot of the other storage shelves on the market. So, for basement organization, it’s ideal!

Erborian CC Cream

This is hands down my favorite CC or BB cream. I had used it a few years back and just recently repurchased and it reminds me why I loved it so much. It has SPF 25 as well as moisturizing properties like most CC creams, but it also provides a really nice even appearance to your skin. It’s definitely not full coverage, but seriously your skin looks so much more even after you apply it. It’s like a face filter! And, unlike SO MANY CC creams, the SPF doesn’t make it feel tacky or sticky, it feels so velvety. Works great as a base for foundation, too, if you want a more full coverage look.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

This has been my go-to mascara for a few years. Whenever I’m wearing it I always get questions on what mascara I am using. For awhile I was pretty loyal to the It Cosmetics Superhero mascara, which I still like, but I find this one just as good without the larger price tag. I get the non-waterproof formula and there is no flaking or smudging all day (even in the heat) and it still comes off easily at the end of the day.

Thrive Market

Thrive Market is basically an online grocery store. It sells everything from food, wine, cleaning products, household products, and bath/beauty products, all of which are all-natural and/or organic. You can also very easily filter by diet, which is part of where it gained a lot of popularity. Search for keto, whole30, gluten-free, paleo, and more. Like most grocery marketplaces, they sell their own brand of product, as well as name brand products. We finally tried it this summer and I’m really happy with it. It saves me quite a bit on a lot of the all-natural and gluten-free items I buy on a regular basis. Read my full review here.

Yeti Coffee Mug

Michael got me a Yeti coffee mug for Mother’s Day and I use it every single morning. It not just helps keep my coffee warm longer but also prevents many spills (which I’m prone to with a 1-year-old and puppy running around.) He also got the larger 14oz on which is actually really great because you can also make iced coffee in it!

Mom Picks

Chunkies Paint Sticks

We adore these paint sticks for coloring. Much less mess than real paint but they look so much more vibrant and paint-like than a crayon or marker. Miles can easily open and close them on his own and prefers using them to them any other coloring tools he has.

John Deere Tractor Set

Miles loves this John Deere tractor set. Currently, he insists on bringing the dump truck on all our walks. And, since quarantine, we’ve had two of his friends visit in the backyard and both go right for these tractors. So, they are a hit with lots of toddlers!

Wooden Play Set

We splurged and got Miles a swing set this year. (Quarantine made us do it.) I did a lot of research and ended up finding one under $400 that actually had all I wanted (swing, sandbox, swing, and ladder) plus some extras like a bench. For the price, it’s actually really great and wasn’t that bad to put together.

Water Table

The water table was another quarantine purchase. However, I did plan to get one for him anyway. Miles plays with this almost every day. We fill it with water, bubbles, ice, etc. To be honest, I don’t LOVE the one we got (I went for affordability) and if I were to rebuy I’d probably spend a little more on something less kitschy.

Multi-purpose Water Shoes

These water shoes are under $20 and I love them for Miles for the summer because they are fine to get wet at the beach or when he plays with his water table, but work great as just everyday shoes. So they are just awesomely versatile for summer.

Lovevery Play Kit Subscription:

Lovevery is a subscription service for toys. You receive a box every 3 months based on your child’s age. But, they are more than just toys, they are designed based on child development and learning. These toys have been Miles’ favorite, hands down. He plays with them longer than any other toys and is more engaged. Read my full review here.
